The camp is situated under giant, Jackalberry trees, on the edge of a crystal clear waterway with a white sandy bottom. Sunrise and sunset can be viewed over the floodplain where elephants come down to drink and bath on almost a daily basis.

Your accommodation consists of large, 2 sleeper, bow tents with comfortable beds and fresh linen. Each tent has it’s own ‘rustic bucket shower’ which will be warmed to your liking and out there in the bush you still have the luxury of western-type toilets with flush systems. We offer full tent and laundry service.

Good quality food is prepared in our safari, bush kitchen. Enjoy your cold beverages and supper under the open, star-lit sky as you sit around the camp-fire with the sounds of the Okavango all around you.

Your typical day starts with an early wake up call of the African fish eagle, a quick snack, and an adventure cycle ride while the morning temperature is still cool. You return to camp for ‘brunch’ about mid-morning. Midday can be spent lazing in a hammock, swimming or fishing in the stream, just a ‘stones throw’ from your tent. Lunch is served under the shade of the trees in camp.

Later in the afternoon as the heat of the day begins to dissipate you can choose to go on a cycle ride for a couple of hours or so, a game drive, a game walk or even a ride on the cool calm waters of the Delta in a Mokoro.

There is an abundance of game to see: elephant, lion, hippo, crocodile, zebra, wildebeest, tsessebe, impala, kudu, waterbuck, lechwe, reedbuck, sable, buffalo, and giraffe, we also have regular sightings of wild dog. With luck, you can see leopard and hyena that are also plentiful in the area. This area is renowned throughout the globe as a bird watcher’s paradise!
